A series of quarterly dine-outs where people can join us for a meal where part of the proceeds will go to Food Bank to purchase food items for needy.
The move is part of Food Bank Singapore’s strategy to reduce food wastage and use the dining experience to bring this message across to diners. It also aims to show that doing good is not necessarily time consuming – it can be done during the lunch hour.
During the event launch on October 18 2013, participants not only get to enjoy their Korean bento set from Sarang Korean Bistro, they also get to help pack 180,000 meals for the needy.
The meal packs were distributed to needed Singaporeans and through Radion International to refugees living near the Laos border in Thailand.
We are also looking for RESTAURANT PARTNERS to collaborate for our future FoodLanthropy Projects.
