Our friendly Foodbanker shares what to expect when volunteering with us at The Food Bank Singapore’s warehouse.

Warehouse Volunteering
The Food Bank Singapore receives incoming food donations daily, and we need your help to sort, take inventory and pack food donations!

Volunteers at our warehouse will be assigned to a variety of essential tasks that involves a degree of physical labour, which typically require up to three hours of their time. These activities include:

  1. Organising and categorising incoming food donations
  2. Assisting with stock-taking and inventory management
  3. Packing and loading/unloading of food in carton boxes
  4. Maintaining warehouse cleanliness to ensure a high level of health and safety standard

Warehouse Sessions

We offer two daily warehouse sessions on weekdays, excluding Public Holidays:

AM Session: 10am to 1pm 

PM Session: 2pm to 5pm

The number of volunteers allowed per session is 6 pax.


Warehouse Scheduling and Booking

FBSG’s warehouse schedule is released two weeks in advance here at Giving.sg
