Marketing Associate
(Social Media and Engagements)

We are looking for a vibrant Marketing Associate to join our team. Working closely with our Marketing Team lead, you will manage corporate communications, develop engaging campaigns and strategies to increase awareness and presence of Foodbank. You will be expected to produce compelling content for online outreach, print advertising and create attractive promotional events, with the primary goal of increasing the Foodbank’s presence to donors and various stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Social Media management and engagements
  • Execute Stakeholder Engagement Strategy (Donor & Volunteers) (Newsletters/Appreciation event)
  • Assist in monitoring Paid Media
  • Create Engaging videos
  • Assist in sourcing for sponsorship opportunities
  • Assist in connecting / working with other Food Banks around this region/globally
  • Assist with the creation of digital products
  • Assist with planning and execution of events
  • Shared duties for all Foodbank activities

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, business, or relevant field is preferred. Prior experience in SME working environments will be advantageous.
  • 2+ years of experience as a marketing intern, associate, assistant, or a related position
  • Experience with SEO/SEM campaigns and digital tools
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and marketing technology applications such as web analytics and Google AdWords
  • Excellent communicationand organizational skills
