Juniors Club

At The Food Bank Singapore, we believe in nurturing a sense of service and social responsibility from a young age.

Our Juniors Club programme is designed to inspire the youngest members of our community to be changemakers, fostering awareness about food insecurity and empowering them to make a real difference. Through interactive, hands-on activities and an engaging curriculum, Junior Foodbankers gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by those experiencing hunger in Singapore.

These meaningful experiences encourage our young participants to take purposeful actions towards creating a hunger-free future. Open to children aged 5 to 16, Juniors Club sessions are held during the June and December school holidays, making it a fun and impactful way for kids to give back!

The Juniors Club Learning Journey by The Food Bank Singapore is an exciting and enriching program designed for students aged 4 to 16, combining fun, education, and purpose. This unique experience inspires young minds to think critically about important topics like food waste, food insecurity, and sustainability.

Students will participate in an engaging talk that sheds light on the importance of reducing food waste and addressing food insecurity, followed by an eye-opening tour of The Food Bank Singapore’s warehouse. Here, they will witness how food donations are processed, stored, and redistributed to support those in need, offering a hands-on understanding of the impact of community efforts.

Perfect for schools with a focus on sustainability and social responsibility, this program encourages students to become changemakers who contribute to a hunger-free future. The learning journey accommodates group sizes of 20 to 35 students, making it a great fit for class outings or co-curricular programs.

A mandatory donation of $35 per child helps support The Food Bank Singapore’s initiatives and beneficiaries. Sessions last approximately 1.5 hours and are conducted at FBSG premises, offering a convenient and meaningful way to engage students.
