Food Drives are a great way to generate donations for The Food Bank Singapore to ensure a steady supply of food rations. At the same time, this helps to raise awareness on food insecurity and food wastage in Singapore.
Industry donors are a critical part of our mission to end food insecurity in Singapore. Only through the ongoing support of food industry donors can we continue to feed over 200,000 people in Singapore. We simply couldn’t provide the assistance we do without the generosity and support of our wonderful partners from the various food suppliers or distributors.
Want to donate to those in need but do not know how to go about it? Support The Food Bank Singapore’s Bundle Campaign where we bring Joy In Every Bundle! Hassle-free and easy, we stretch every dollar donated to cover the cost of the food items, packaging and logistics costs! As the food items are purchased by The Food Bank Singapore, we work with various food suppliers to ensure that every bundle offered, is value for money. Engage your team by raising funds to pledge, pack and do a door to door distribution to our beneficiaries at one of our beneficiary centre’s locations.
FBSG’s Juniors Club programme builds awareness among the littlest members of our community and involves them in making an impactful, positive social change. Through a range of experiential learning opportunities and a highly engaging curriculum, our young participants develop an understanding of food insecurity in Singapore. This empowers them to take informed, purposeful steps towards ending hunger.
In 2019, we realised that there was an urgent need for accessible and nutritious food in the heartlands. To address this, we introduced the Food Pantry 2.0, an automated platform providing 24/7 emergency food aid. The Bank Card Programme was then developed as a new vehicle for beneficiaries to receive food aid from our various feeding initiatives. This programme works alongside the Feed The City Tap A Meal initiative, where FBSG partners with F&B establishments to provide meals to beneficiaries of our Feeding Partners using the Bank Cards for meal redemption.

With more than 20% of people in Singapore who are still facing food insecurity issues in our food haven, we are embarking on bigger projects to extend and better our outreach to serve the community.
Upcoming initiative to explore virtual and/or direct distribution as a real-time platform to collect surplus from more potential donors and re-distribute to beneficiaries more efficiently.
