Your support enables The Food Bank Singapore to provide timely food support to beneficiaries by turning food surplus to sustenance. Our work in rescuing food helps to prevent perfectly good food from filling the landfills, contributing to food sustainability. Your support also enables us to procure food as needed for specific programmes or when surplus and food donated are insufficient to meet the needs of our beneficiaries. ​
Many may not know that it may cost more to rescue food due to the work in coordination to collect food surplus and the high costs of logistics in Singapore. ​
You can support The Food Bank Singapore by either donating food, and/or providing a monetary donation. Both donations help us multiply impact to end beneficiaries.
We accept bulk food donation, i.e., in cartons and pallets from stakeholders in the food industry, e.g., food manufacturers and distributors, etc. ​
As a member of the public, you can do your part by donating food surplus from your pantry and dropping off the food donations at any one of our Food Bank Boxes around the island. ​
As a member of a community, institution or organisation, you can help organise a food drive to raise food donation/surplus on our behalf.
Your contribution goes directly to funding the many food programmes we operate to serve various groups of beneficiary partners/beneficiaries in Singapore. While some portion of funds goes towards funding our operations, the majority will be channeled to programmes that drive impact towards improving food security and sustainabiity in Singapore.
