Since we started our journey in 2012, we have provided more than 24M meals to individuals. In 2025, we have provided 700,000kg of food support to vulnerable communities through our beneficiary partners.
According to one of our beneficiary partners, Woodlands Social Centre, the food support we provide to them on a regular basis resulted in an 18% reduction in financial stress on the part of end beneficiaries.
In 2026, we will launch new programmes that will address food support needs in other vulnerable groups, like school-going children and tertiary students from lower-income households.
Our focus on providing food support to our beneficiary partners remain strong. If you are a charity looking for food support, please get in touch with us at enquiries@foodbank.sg
How Food Banks contribute to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
What are the Sustainable Development Goals? The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was adopted by the United Nations in 2015.At the heart of this agenda are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which lay outthe blueprint for the international community to achieve peace and prosperity for peopleand the planet.
The SDGs tackle a wide range of global issues, from poverty and education, to health andeducation. All SDGs are interconnected—progress in one area requires progress in another. And with less than five years left to achieve this agenda, there is much to do.
