The first Hunger Report: An In-Depth Look at Food Insecurity in Singapore identified 10.4% resident households that had experienced food insecurity in the 12 months. The fundamental aim of the report is to help readers understand the profiles of individuals/households that experience food insecurity and the socio-psychological impact it has on their lives.

  1. 10% of Singaporean households experienced food insecurity at least once in the last 12 months
  2. Being Food insecure can also be associated to having negative effects on a person’s physical and mental health
