What is Adopt a Food Bank Box?

Supported by The Association of Small & Medium Enterprises (ASME) and National Volunteer & Philantrophy Centre (NVPC), The Food Bank Singapore’s Adopt a Food Bank Box campaign brings organisations and their communities together to give surplus and non-perishable food to those in need.

By placing a Food Bank Box at your workplace or organisation, you can turn everyday spaces into food donation hubs: encouraging employees, customers and community members to contribute and give food a second purpose.

Sign-up closes 1st December 2026

How It Works

STEP 1: MAKE YOUR CONTRIBUTION

Make a tax-deductible contribution of S$200 through the campaign via giving.sg to support the operations of The Food Bank Singapore. Create a giving.sg account if needed.

STEP 2: LOGISTICS COORDINATION
A representative from The Food Bank Singapore will reach out (via the email address provided for your giving submission) to confirm your preferred number of Food Bank Boxes, drop-off arrangements and collection details.

STEP 3: BOX DELIVERY
Receive your Food Bank Boxes at your workplace or organisation.

STEP 4: RUN YOUR FOOD DRIVE
Encourage your employees and community to donate suitable non-perishable food items over the campaign period.

STEP 5: COLLECTION & DISTRIBUTION
Filled boxes are collected and the donated food is channelled through The Food Bank Singapore’s food support network.
