Bank Card Programme
The Bank Card Programme was developed by FBSG as a new vehicle for beneficiaries to receive food aid from our various feeding initiatives. Inline with the intent to improve the dignity of beneficiaries, the Bank Card was created with the aim of providing the freedom of choice and autonomy in food aid.
The Bank Card Programme is a smart wallet that is pre-loaded with credits every month. With the bank cards, beneficiaries can receive food from participating F&B outlets and Food Bank’s Food Pantry at any time.
Each Bank Card has 100 virtual credits that are topped up automatically each month. Beneficiaries are able to redeem meals and food items from FBSG’s two initiatives:
- 50 credits from Food Bank Vending Machines
- 50 credits from Partnered F&B outlets under Feed The City Tap A Meal initiative
Where can it be used?
Under the Feed The City Tap A Meal initiative, the Bank Cards can be used at the following locations & F&Bs:
- Encik Tan outlets
- Selected Subway outlets (38 locations)
- Boleh Boleh@Clementi
- Popeyes
Bank Cards can also be used to redeem food and daily essential items from FBSG’s Food Pantry locations.
How do you get a Bank Card?
The Bank Cards are currently available from our Feeding Partners. In order to qualify for a Bank Card, beneficiaries must be formally registered with a feeding partner.
